As part of planning, you will need to try out some of the shots you need to take for your major task in particular. You can take them in different settings, but focusing on the specific aspect related to it - for example, maybe you want to use a long continuous camera movement following a character and you are not sure how that will turn out? test it first.

Example of trying out a very particular type of camera movement inspired by David Fincher:

For Minor Tasks

You can prepare some test layouts for your works, see how any ideas you already might look like - maybe you want to do a physical collage that involves also painting, ripping paper and sewing it together- better try out those techniques now, before you run out of time later and having this already set up will give you even more freedom to experiment and come up with new ideas on the spot, based on this past experience you have now.

How to use this blog

This blog is, in terms of structure, a mirror of the blog you will create this year. Follow all instructions stated in each post.

Have a brilliant idea? Changed your mind? A specific director's films inspire you? You are enthusiastic about the great photos you took yesterday? Great! You can write all about them in separate posts on your blog.

You should have on your blog at least all the posts that you find here. Of course, you can add extra ones, as you see fit.

Remember: Post it on the blog, or it didn't happen!
