PROPS

Make a clear list with all items you will need to use in your music video/short film/trailers/documentary. Any colour, detail, way it is used or placed in the frame is very important and significant for supporting your story.

For each of the props add an image - if you do not have yet that item but plan on procuring it, you can take photos off internet which show similar objects to the ones you will actually have.

Then write for each some ideas:

Why are the props appropriate for your genre/audience?

Are there any props you want to use symbolically? which are those and why are they suited?

EQUIPMENT

This is how a camera inventory list looks like: http://www.cameraassistantmanual.com/

Quite impressive, right?

For your project you can just make a list with all the equipment you will need to bring with you in the film shooting days. Use it as a checklist before you leave home...and remember to charge the batteries :) better prepare everything from your equipment list with 2-3 days in advance to make sure you have everything you need on the busy shooting day.

See more lists here: http://www.cameraassistantmanual.com/ - scroll down a bit and click on "Forms, checklists & labels" on the right side.

How to use this blog

This blog is, in terms of structure, a mirror of the blog you will create this year. Follow all instructions stated in each post.

Have a brilliant idea? Changed your mind? A specific director's films inspire you? You are enthusiastic about the great photos you took yesterday? Great! You can write all about them in separate posts on your blog.

You should have on your blog at least all the posts that you find here. Of course, you can add extra ones, as you see fit.

Remember: Post it on the blog, or it didn't happen!
