The music video/short film/trailers/documentary is done, you can take it out into the world, to meet its first audience. It is very helpful to share it with others for feedback. Of course, your friends and family might be inclined to just say its wonderful, but ask them to be as objective as they can.

See if they can answer to these questions for you to understand where your music video/short film/trailers/documentary stands in relation to a real life one:

- If you would see this music video/short film/trailers/documentary, would it attract your attention? Why/why not?

- Looking at the credits and title, does it seem realistic? Would you expect to find this kind of content in a short film/trailers/documentary?

- What genre do you think this music video/short film/trailers/documentary is? What makes you say that?

- How engaging do you find the music video/short film/trailers/documentary? Was it inspiring/useful/meaningful for you to watch it? Why/why not?

- Overall, does it look like a music video/short film/trailers/documentary to you? Is the sound, acting, lighting, filming done professionally in your own opinion? Why/why not?

Getting feedback might be difficult, see how you can keep your focus on what matters - all these answers can be opportunities for you to improve your work and make it even more wonderful than it already is. Use this opportunity also to build confidence and acceptance of mistakes.

Write in this post a summary of all the feedback you received and how it impacted or not your final work.

Then make the final edits you need, based on this feedback. Again, document the whole process step by step through screenshots and explain what you did and why.
