There are 2 parts in your post:

1. RESEARCH- definition, conventions and elements of a feature article.

In this part you need to write down your findings from your research, to show that you understand and know what is a feature article, how it should look like and what elements it needs to contain.

You should research and write about these 3 aspects:

a. design principles, conventions and elements:

b. text writing principles and elements:

c. types, inspiration and examples:

- there are different types of feature articles based on the genre of the magazine you approach - either Q&A, or interview, or fashion editorial, or op-ed, etc. Write briefly about them and state which type you wish to do in your magazine.

Put here some inspirational articles you found online, and say how will you approach your own feature article and why. Pay attention to linking your ideas to the magazine genre, style and vision you already constructed for it.

2. PLANNING - any ideas you have for it, elements you already know and have to include in it

In this part you can write down:

a. the concept behind the article, and why you chose to do an editorial, or a Q&A, or interview, etc. - based on the relationship with the magazine genre and branding style as a whole

b. text & fonts you are going to use in the article

c. visual elements - any other visual elements you plan to include in the article - for ex drawings, illustrations, logos; they could be just described, or sketches for now.

How to use this blog

This blog is, in terms of structure, a mirror of the blog you will create this year. Follow all instructions stated in each post.

Have a brilliant idea? Changed your mind? A specific director's films inspire you? You are enthusiastic about the great photos you took yesterday? Great! You can write all about them in separate posts on your blog.

You should have on your blog at least all the posts that you find here. Of course, you can add extra ones, as you see fit.

Remember: Post it on the blog, or it didn't happen!
